Great Anatolia Printing and Paper Technologies Fair 2006

Result Report

The Great Anatolia Printing and Paper Technologies Fair which has been held between 15 – 17 September 2006, in Kayseri World Trade Center, has been a huge success.

Kayseri Governor Osman Güneş, Kayseri Municipality’s General Secretary Mustafa Yalçın, Chairman of the Board of the Directors of the Kayseri Chamber of Commerce, H.Ali Kilci, Members of the Kayseri Chamber of Commerce, and Vice Chairman of the Board of the Ihlas Holding, Yavuz Özgün  attended the opening ceremony of the fair, which received huge interest.

The world giants demonstrated live printing sessions during the fair which is held in another Anatolian city in its every edition and brings the latest in printing technologies to Anatolian printers. This quality makes the Great Anatolia Printing and Paper Technologies fair unique in our country and guarantees its success.

The Great Anatolia Printing and Paper Technologies fair hosted 101 importer and manufacturer companies as exhibitors, consisting of 42 importers and 38 manufacturers. 5 of the remaining 21 companies were foreign names and consisted of suppliers, second-hand machine sellers, NGOs and publishers.

The Great Anatolia Printing and Paper Technologies fair has been a huge success both due to the fact that exhibitors are high profile companies and the visitors being highly professional. The exhibitors and visitors left the fair with the same opinion that another one should be held in 2008.

PRINTING INDUSTRY

Among the exhibitors, Arus Serigrafi, Asteks, Cem Serigrafi, Değirmen, Duran Makine, Ema Makine, Eraysan, Feket, Gündoğdu Makine, İşcan Makine, Kaym Kaynaklar, Mega Elektro Makine, Özkardeşler, Proses, Remaksa,Repromak, Sanem, Somtaş and Ultra Mümessillik, are some of the important manufacturers exporting to not only European countries but also Turkic Republics, Middle East and North Africa countries.  

KAYSERİ WORLD TRADE CENTER

Kayseri World Trade Center covering 6000 m2, has everything that takes to host any type of commercial, social and cultural events. With its aesthetical architecture and immense hall, it is both functional and welcoming. Its central location it is very easy to access the center and offers  free car park facilities for the exhibitors and the visitors.

FAIR ADDRESS BANK:

With the address bank of Matbaa & Teknik, which has the widest and most up-to-date address portfolio, as a publication that has proved its success in its 10 years of life, with the address banks of fair exhibitors, and the addresses providers by the chambers and industrial publications we have been cooperating with, we now have a large database of all the printers in Turkey, large or small. The number of address for all Turkey including consumable suppliers and sub-industries, is around 12 thousand.

PROMOTION OF THE FAIR:

The following tools were used for the promotion of The Great Anatolia Printing and Paper Technologies fair:

Matbaa & Teknik, which has been giving the latest news to its readers, and other dedicated magazines of the industry.

Commercials on TGRT TV, which belongs to İhlas Holding, commercials on TGRT FM and advertisements on Turkiye Daily.  

The news of the fair have been largely covered in national and regional TV, radio stations, newspapers and magazines.

Also our advertisements have been placed in industrial publications and relevant websites also mentioned about the fair.

As the fair invitation, 200.000 invitations were printed, out of which 140 thousand was printed by Ihlas Fuar and the remaining was printed as the customer invitations.

Thanks to cooperation with Adana Chamber or Printers,  Gaziantep Chamber or Printers, Denizli Chamber or Printers, Mersin Chamber or Printers, Kayseri Chamber or Printers, Şanlıurfa Chamber or Printers, Antalya Alanya Chamber or Printers, and Antalya Chamber or Printers, Anatolian printers had easily arrived the fair area. Also shuttle services from Ankara, Izmir and Istanbul, transportation had been made easier than ever.
